Our Devonshire cottages are set in a secluded hamlet originally consisting of 2 farms built from washed stone and slate with parts dating back before the signing of the Magna Carta. Higher Cowley Farm itself is a Grade 2 Listed building and whilst the properties have been renovated the original features and characteristics have been retained using original materidals. Higher Cowley 12 acre small-holding with a stream, pond, chickens, turkeys, ducks, geese, pigs and horses nestled in a quiet wooded valley surrounded by spectacular Exmoor countryside looking down to Heddon's Mouth with its outstanding coastal views over the Bristol Channel and across to Wales. Retrace history and follow in the steps of the smugglers who would founder ships at Heddons Mouth (the wreckers) and transport their booty along the pathways of Higher Cowley.Self Catering Holiday Cottages Higher Cowley Farm, North Devon
